Our Nursing Care: The Household

All meals are prepared in our own kitchens with the emphasis on a tasty, healthy diet. Special meals are made for those who want or need them. Home-made cakes are always available. Most of the flowers and some of the soft fruits and vegetables are grown in our own gardens. We have our own laundry. Clothes need to be name-taped.

Wardington House provides both long and short-term care. The fees vary with the type of care and accommodation required. Fees are inclusive of everything except alcoholic drinks and external professional fees, such as physiotherapy and chiropody. All residents are assessed before they come and the first four weeks are regarded as a trail period for all concerned. Smokers are only accepted in exceptional circumstances.
