We hold our annual Garden Party at the beginning of July every year. It is a great opportunity for our residents and their families to get together in a carnival like atmosphere. We have a brass band, a lovely tea tent, stalls, and games for those who want to compete at skittles or putting. We have a magician and a clown to entrall the adults, children and grandchildren. We have a raffel with prizes and usually raise around £3,000. This is donated to the Alzheimer’s Society and a local carer’s charity.
Some of our welcome guests include families whose relatives are no longer in the home and staff members who retired many years ago.
